A Brief History

ASI International was established in 1993 by Roland Larbig, just as the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (1994) would revolutionize the supplement industry. Nutritional product innovations and launches — supplements, beverages and nutricosmetics — rapidly began to flourish, with ASI sourcing a wide multitude of natural-origin ingredients for numerous customers. The boom of the pet care supplement market followed, and with that came healthy foods and supplements for companion animals – both areas in which ASI. lead the industry.

As of 2023, Roland’s daughter Andrea Larbig will transition to overseeing daily operations at ASI and shepherding the company through its next 30 years.
